Congrats! You’ve decided to embark on the journey of building a new home! We consider Feasibility as Step Zero since finding the proper location is pertinent to setting up the rest of the project.

 

There is no project until we have a location. The feasibility step is where we dream and then find the right property to implement the dream together. Sometimes, that can mean buying a bare piece of land. It can also mean finding an existing property that needs to be heavily reimagined, either tearing it down to start over or a heavy remodel to the existing structure. (Or, hey, maybe somewhere in between!) Similar to a home inspection, consider this step a “site inspection” to minimize surprises as the planning process moves forward.
